The field of activity: planning and organization of genetic resources and feed crops breeding research.

Practical experience: 40 years of scientific research on mobilization and study of perennial leguminous and cereal grasses collections and creation of varieties with increased adaptive potential for different soil and climatic conditions of Ukraine, plant resistance to high-acid soils in particular. More than 100 varieties of feed and other agricultural crops have been created, 56 patents for the varieties and breeding methods have been obtained.

For the first time in Ukraine, in 2017, research on breeding improvement of intermediate Kernza wheatgrass was launched in cooperation with the Land Institute (Kansas, USA).
