About me

Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Agriculture, Soil Science and Plant Protection. He has experience working in the ACDI/VOCA program for the development of farming in Ukraine (USA, 1996), participated in the Louisiana University project (USA, 2005-2007) on supporting Ukrainian small agricultural producers and the creation of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Agricultural Advisory Service. I completed an internship in Austria (1994, 1995), Poland (2004, 2006) ande USA (2007). Actively cooperates with agricultural enterprises of Ukraine: conducts field research of corn, sunflower and soybeans for companies in Germany (KWS, Farmzaat), France (R.A.G.T., Souffle) and studies the soils of Western Ukraine.

I graduated the Kamianets-Podilskyi Agricultural Institute (now Higher Educational Institution «Podillia State University», Kamyanets-Podilskyi, Khmelnytskyi Region).

He started his scientific work at the same institute in 1984 as a research associate. I conducted research on the introduction and improvement of medicinal plant cultivation technologies. He worked for one year as a researcher in the breeding department of the Scientific Research Station of cruciferous crops (now the Ivano-Frankivsk Institute of Agro-industrial Production of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine, Ivano-Frankivsk).

In 1986-1990, I am working the dissertation research of soil processes in drained podzolic soils of Cis-Karpatian under perennial hayfields (cereal and leguminous-cereal grass mixtures). I defended his thesis in 1994.

I started my teaching career at Yuriy Fedkovich Chernivtsi National University (Chernivtsi) and continued at Podilsk State University, where I am still working.

I received the academic title of associate professor in 2000.

After defending his thesis, I conducted research on soil processes under natural (forest, grassy areas – hayfields and pastures) and agrocenoses in the Forest-Steppe of Ukraine (Chernozem and Pheozem soils). He also developed measures to optimize the properties of arable soils, preserve and increase the fertility of the soils of Western Ukraine.
